The solidarity group “Auswärts” @auswaerts_solidarity_group invites you to the second day of the film festival “Aus der Nacht heraus 8” for an evening dedicated to:

Resisting dehumanizing refugee policies, building grassroots alternatives

The programme will start with a panel discussion followed by a screening of a film related to the topic. The event will be held in English.

Panel Discussion: BEZ Collective — a grassroots no-borders collective in solidarity with people on the move at the border between Poland and Belarus
Efi Dousi — lawyer and member of the legal support team for the survivors of the Pylos shipwreck
Marita Zambrana Vega @maritazambrana — anti-racism activist, Bolivian migrant in Spain, and member of the Madrid Anti-Racist Articulation for Regularization

Film:Deserted – Europe’s Deadly Migration Policy (2024) by Philipp Grüll & Erik Häußler erik.haeussler

Beyond the film screening and panel discussion, the festival will once again be a space of solidarity, mutual aid, and political connection. This evening will bring together grassroots abolitionist education, anti-racist organizing, Palestine solidarity, migrant voices, and collective care.

Food4Palestine will run the kitchen!

🎵Panel, film and…then sound: Rabibti à Table (@rabibti_atable ) will take over with a DJ set to keep the political energy alive.
